UPPCOMING EVENTS

The Regulatory Policy Institute ANZ expects to announce further events shortly in our 2022 program.  These will be in the format of in-person short seminars, as well as further webinars.  

The topics covered will include:

• The regulation of Australian ports

• As the energy transition accelerates, the regulatory issues this raises for gas networks

• The protection of biodiversity and its treatment in government decision-making

• Further topics in our future of regulation series, which started with our March event on customer engagement

RPI ANZ’s annual in-person event will take place in Sydney in September or October.  Meanwhile for those interested in the wider RPI agenda, RPI Europe will be hosting its traditional two full-day seminars in the UK this year, starting with its Westminster conference on 11 May, entitled “Diagnosing Regulatory Pathologies”.  This will explore experience with UK economic regulation and competition policy, to understand when things go wrong, why they go wrong.  For more details about RPI Europe see here.
